I'm trying to think if there's any connection between him and our boss that would result in Austin getting such teacher's pet-like treatment. I know Austin is from Colorado and went to CSU.... I'm gonna ask Jay where he went to school.... I will get to the bottom of this.
It was a long night for this blogger as I celebrated a huge win by the 'Zards over that garbage Cavs team. Seriously, this was a crazy night. This was like - you're hanging out with Chad and neither of you have to work for the next 2 days long. I don't see myself leaving the house today.... or shaving.... or putting on a clean shirt (Unless Leslie comes over. Not that she would mind.) So I figure I should at least blog - the kids love this stuff.
I hope you all enjoyed yesterday's links as much as I do. Basketball-Reference.com is great. For example, who knew that Vernon Maxwell made over $13 Million during a 14 year NBA career? I wonder what he's doing with all that money. In other words, I wonder how much of it is left. We need someone to start a website where they show us not only each player's yearly income but also how much they were throwing away on frivolous purchases throughout their glory years.
The Rangers and Dodgers both won on Wednesday. I played them both for the casino limit and got phenomenally good numbers. Prove me wrong, Chris. Prove me wrong.
All in all, it was a fine night for the Hoffman-Murray Connection. We're still working on that name. We literally spend more time arguing about potential group names than actually picking winners or making bets. Our hope is that Jeff will have another bad golf week and be released so we can pick him up off waivers and form - The Sherman Group. It has a nice ring to it.

Trivia Question for Wednesday/Thursday - Name the four defensive linemen who comprised the Minnesota Vikings famed Purple People Eaters Front Four. I could only think of 3 and had to look up the 4th so I consider this a pretty good question.

( Look I can't talk about Jorgen in every edition of the blog. He's a great guy, sure. He's as All-American as apple pie. But he can't be the focus of all my work. I'm more diverse than that. I'm sorry, guys. I'm sorry. )
